I highly recommend this to women suffering from PMS (premenstrual syndrome). I bought this product after learning about the benefits of calcium and magnesium before my period, and it effectively relieved my PMS irritability. This seems more important than calcium to me. I don't even notice when my period is approaching. I have been taking the company's iron supplements for anaemia, which helped my blood tests and physical strength, but didn’t help much with irritability. I believe magnesium is what I was missing. It would be wise to raise awareness about magnesium supplements. I look forward to continuing using Solgar, given its quality.

This magnesium helps me. I don't have a severe magnesium deficiency, but I take it during PMS or when anxious. About a week prior to menstruation, I start taking it, and it eliminates my PMS symptoms – no stomach or back pain. The symptoms subside almost instantly, acting like an anaesthetic.
